COMMON QUESTIONS WE ANSWER
What bat should I buy for my 10-year-old?
For youth players aged 8–12, we recommend our Youth Maple 30in. It is sized appropriately, uses the same quality maple as our pro line, and comes with grip tape included. Tell us your child's height and weight and we can confirm the right length.
I am a shortstop — which glove do I need?
Shortstops typically use an 11.25"–11.5" infield glove with a modified trap or I-web for quick ball transfers. Our Infield Pro 11.5" is built specifically for middle infield play.
What is the difference between wood and alloy bats?
Wood bats are used in professional and most adult leagues. They offer better feel and teach proper mechanics. Alloy and composite bats are approved for high school and collegiate BBCOR play and offer a larger sweet spot. We can advise based on your league rules.
Do I need metal cleats or turf trainers?
Metal cleats are for grass and clay infields in competitive play. Turf trainers are for artificial turf, indoor facilities, and batting cage sessions. Many players own both. Tell us your training environment and we will guide you.
Can you advise on a full kit for a new player?
Absolutely. A starter kit typically includes a bat, batting helmet, batting gloves, and fielding glove. We can put together a recommended package within your budget. WhatsApp us with the player's position and age to get started.
